i spend my days on the plains of east africa, avoiding hunters and predators, eating grass and roaming about with my herd. between the surviving and the eating, there's not much room for extracurriculars, but some of those grevy dudes passed along a tip last time we ran in to them - "try 'meat', when you get a chance" they implored. what business does a zebra have eating meat? well, none, apparently. i have mostly flat teeth. i and almost everyone before me was brought up on grass and shit. but hell, if those grevy guys can do it, i don't see why i can't, right?
i don't think i really understand 'meat'. sure, it's dead animal, but really, what's the point? i seem to get enough nourishment from my standard fare and i do try new and unique stuff now and then, so its not like i'm lacking variety. so what it comes down to is... well, i don't know what i'm getting in to, but fuck those grevy guys. they're endangered and they're still hitting up this 'meat' thing... i might as well try it out, right?
so anyways, i tried it out last week. it was pretty tasty, i guess. i don't think i'd make it a regular thing. i still didn't get it - was it fresh? i dunno. was it actually high quality meat? again, no idea. i could have been chewing on 3 month old vulture, for all i know. it still was decent, and i wouldn't be adverse to hitting it up again. though it did create giant shits. for me, that's saying a lot.
